Madeleine-Pierre Quérolle, painter sculptor and medallist was born in 1914. He studied at the École des Arts Décoratifs de Nice and later at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Paris. He was a student of Jandon and Lafaye. His output of medals is quite extensive.
