He won the Grand Prix de Rome for medal engraving in 1914. He was later made a Chevalier de la L?gion d?Honneur. Besides medals, he designed a number of coins, including the 1933 5 franc coin and coins for Romania.

He was admitted to the Soci?t? des artistes fran?ais and exhibited at the Salon des artistes fran?ais, where he won a gold medal in 1937. He was made a chevalier of the Legion d’Honneur in 1929. Fraisse died in Paris on September 13 1945
