He studied in England, Germany and at l??cole Nationale Sup?rieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris. He worked as a sculptor, painter and medallist. Spicer-Simpson travelled extensively and lived for a time in America. He is noted in particular for his cast portrait medallions, taken from life. He died in 1960

Sorry, SOLD (May, 2021) ——–Lucien Bazor was born in 1889. He studied under Auguste Patey at the ?cole Nationale Sup?rieure des Beaux Arts. He won the Premier Grand Prix de Rome for medal engraving in 1923. He succeeded Patey in the post of Engraver General at the Paris Mint, a post he held until 1958. Bazor died in 1974.
