Hippolyte Lef?bvre, sculptor and medallist was born in Lille. He studied at the Acad?mie des Beaux-Arts in Lille, where he won first prizes in drawing and sculpture. He later entered the ?cole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where he won numerous prizes. He exhibited at the Salon and won the Grand Prix de Rome in sculpture in 1892. Lef?bvre won gold medals for medals that he exhibited at the 1900 Universal Exposition

He studied sculpture under his father and later at the Academy of Brussels. In 1885 he won the second Grand Prix de Rome. In 1889 he won the first Grand Prix for sculpture at the Academy of Brussels and a gold medal at the International Exposition in Cologne. A brief biography and a complete catalogue of his medallic works is provided in GODEFROID DEVRESE 1861-1941 by Poels, Vandamme and Van Dreiessche.

Abel Lafleur was born in Rodez (Aveyron) on 5 November 1875. He studied under Ponscarme, Chaplain and Charpentier at the ?cole Nationale Sup?rieure des Beaux-Arts. He exhibited for the first time in 1901 at the Salon of the Soci?t? des Artistes Fran?ais, where he later won a gold medal and became a member of the Committee. He also exhibited at the Salon des Ind?pendents and the Salon d?Automne. He created several monumental works and created the cup awarded by the International Football Federation. Lafleur died in 1953.

Oudin?, the medallist. He won the first prize at the Concours de Rome in 1862. He studied in Italy from 1864 to 1868. Cahplain was elected to the Acad?mie des Beaux-Arts in 1881 and became an officer of the L?gion d’Honneur in 1888.
