He studied at the ?cole Germain Pilon under Charles Valton and Jules ?douard Roin?. He became a professor of drawing and worked as a medallisst and sculptor. He designed coins for Morocco, Monaco and Lebanon, and a considerable number of medals. Delannoy was made a
Chevalier de la L?gion d’Honneur in 1947. He died in Paris on April 26, 1972.

Paul Vincze, the son of a Jewish father and Roman Catholic mother was born in Hungary in 1907. He studied at the High School of Arts and Crafts in Budapest and later in the studio of E. Telcs. In 1935 he won a scholarship to study in Rome. In 1937 he moved to England and eventually became a British citizen. He worked out of a studio in Chelsea, but later moved to the south of France, where he died in 1994. He is noted for an extensive body of medals.
