Sorry, SOLD (December, 2023) ————— Fr?d?ric-Charles Victor de Vernon was born in Paris on 17 November, 1858. He studied under Jules Cavelier, Chaplain and Tasset and, on the urging of Chaplain, took part in the competition for the Grand Prix de Rome in medal engraving. He placed twice before eventually winning in 1887. His works exhibit a strong influence by Roty. In 1900 he won a gold medal at the Universal Exposition and was made a chevalier de la L?gion d?Honneur. Vernon died in 1912.
