His son and grandson later join the firm, which eventually closed in 1931. ——— S?raphin-?mile Vernier, sculptor and medallist was born in Paris in 1852. He exhibited at the Salon of 1876 and won a bronze medal at the Universal Exposition of 1900. In 1912 he was made an officer of the L?gion d?Honneur. He was the president of the Soci?t? des Artistes d?corateurs from 1905-1910. Vernier died in 1927.
