He travelled to America in 1881, where he remained until he returned to France in 1898. While in France he may have studied under the medallists Oscar Roty and Fr?d?ric de Vernon. Roin? returned to America. As a result of receiving more commissions than he could manage on his own, he formed a partnership with Felix Weil in 1908. They earned a reputation for creating bas-reliefs, galvano designs and medals.. In 1915 he developed kidney disease and which interfered with his ability to work. He decided to return to France, where he died on April 11 1916. Roin??s gained a repuation and many accolades on both sides of the Altanic.
