Gabriel Rispal, sculptor, was bron in Bordeaux on 14 May 1892. He studied under Jean Boucher. He won a silver medal at the 1925 International Exposition and a gold medal at the 1937 International Exposition. He founded the Syndicat des Sculpteurs. Rispal died in December 1970
