Anie Moroux was born in Paris in 1887. She was a student at ?cole Nationale Sup?rieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris. In 1919 she was the first female to compete for the Grand Prix de Rome in medal engraving. She became a professor at the ?cole des Beaux Arts at Casablanca and was made a Chevalier de la L?gion d?Honneur. Mouroux died in 1978.
