Firmin-Marcelin Michelet, sculptor and medallist was born at Tarbes (Hautes Pyr?n?es) on September 20, 1875. He studied under Falgi?re, Merci? and Marqueste. He exhibited at the Salon of la Soci?t? des Artistes Fran?ais, becoming a member in 1902. He won an honorable mention in 1898 and a second-class medal in 1907. Michelet died in the town of his birth on October 14, 1951
