Maier 2. $725. ——— Ferdinand Levillain was born at Plassy on July 29, 1937. He studied at the E?cole des Beaux-Arts de Paris and was a student of Fran?ois Jouffroy . From 1861 to 1903 he exhibited at the Salon des Artists Fran?ais. He worked for the goldsmiths Levillain Barbedienne and Christofle. He was made a chevalier de la L?gion d?Honneur in 1892. Levillain died in Paris on January 8, 1905.
