Number EE of a limited edition of 100. $100. ———— Lucien Gibert (1904-1988), sculptor and medallist, studied at l??cole des Beaux-Arts se Saint-?tienne and later at l??cole Nationale Sup?rieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris. He was a student of Jean Boucher and Charles Despiau. He won a gold medal at the International Exposition in Paris in 1937 and at the Salon des Artistes Fran?ais in 1939. Gibert was made an officer of la L?gion d?Honneur. He created over 200 medals.
