Richard Fath was born in 1900. He was a French sculptor who worked in various media suchas bronze, terracotta, plaster, carved wood and marble. He was a student of Jean Boucher and exhibited at the Salon beginning in 1925. He is noted in particular for his sculptures of animals, especially dogs. He also created some medallic works including a few with a strong art deco style. Fath died in 1952.
