Ron Dutton was born in 1935. He studied in the Department of Fine Art at Kings College in Newcastle. He taught sculpture at Wolverhampton College of Art from 1964 until 1985. He is a prolific medallist with works in the collections of many museums. His medals are mostly inspired by landscapes and nature.
