Henri Alfred Auguste Dubois, was the son of noted sculptor and medallist, Alph?e Dubois and grandson of Eug?ne Dubois. He was born in Rome on August 21 1859 while his father was studying at the French Academy in Rome as a winner of the Prix de Rome. He studied under his father, Chapu and Falgui?re. He won the second Grand Prix de Rome in 1878 and in 1883 became a Soci?taire des Artiste Fran?ais. In 1900 he won a silver medal at the Universal Exposition. In 1903 he was made a Chevalier de la L?gion d?Honneur. Dubois died in December of 1943.
