Slightly uneven patina and a couple of slight edge bumps. $125. Sorry, SOLD (July, 2023) ——— Fran?ois Victor Johann?s Bazin was born in Paris on October 31 1897 into a family of engravers. He spent some of his childhood in Chile, where his father was working. He returned to Paris in 1913 where he studied at l’?cole des arts d?coratifs et ? l??cole nationale sup?rieure des beaux-arts de Paris where he was a student of ?douard Navellier, Denys Puech and Jean-Antoine Injalbert. He was called to service in World War I in 1916. Following the war he was hired to design radiator decorations for cars. Over the course of his career he received many awards and he spent time abroad at the Ville de Medici in Rome, in Egypt, Greece and Madagascar. Bazin died in 1956.
