Ernesta Robert-M?rignac, sculptor and medallist was born at Saint-Omer on August 25 1849. She studied under Mlle Genevi?ve Granger, Mlle Darbefeille and Georges R?cipon. She exhibited four plaquettes in 1905 at the Salon des Artistes Fran?ais and won several medals in 1906 and at the 1924 Olympics. She was the daughter of fencing master Charles Gustave Robert and wife of another, ?mile M?rignac. Her nephew Lucien M?rignac won the gold medal in the 1900 Olympic Foil Masters event. Robert-M?rignac, died at Paris on February 28 1933.

He studied under Barrias, Coutan, Chaplain and Vernon. Fraisse collaborated with Henry Demey on numerous medals and plaquettes that typically depicted figures in action. He was admitted to the Soci?t? des artistes fran?ais and exhibited at the Salon des artistes fran?ais, where he won a gold medal in 1937. He was made a chevalier of the Legion d’Honneur in 1929. Fraisse died in Paris on September 13 1945

Guiraud studied at the ?cole des Beaux Arts in Toulouse and later at the ?cole Nationale Sup?rieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He worked in the workshop of Jean Boucher. Guiraud won the First Grand Prix de Rome for medal engraving in 1926. He died at Saint-Hilaire-au-Temple (Marne) on May 12 1989.

He worked as a medallist, sculptor and goldsmith, exhibiting at the Salons des Artistes Fran?ais and des Arts D?coratifs from 1892 until 1951. He initially created works in the art nouveau style and later in the art deco style. Many of his works have a religious theme. Becker died, aged 100, at Nogent-sur-Marne on November 2, 1971.

In 1911 he won the Prix de Rome for medal engraving and, in 1922, a silver medal at the Salon des Artistes Fran?ais, followed by a gold medal two years later. He was later made a Chevalier de la L?gion d?Honneur. B?nard died in 1961.
