Sorry, SOLD Georges-Henri Prud?homme, sculptor and medallist was born in 1873. He was a student at the ?cole Nationale Sup?rieure des Beaux Arts, where he studied engraving under Alph?e Dubois and sculpture under Falgui?re. He exhibited at the salon beginning in 1894. He won an honorable mention in 1901 and a third class medal in 1904. In 1905 be became a Soci?taire des Artistes Fran?ais and a Chevalier de la L?gion d?Honneur. Prud?homme died in 1947.

He studied art over the objections of his parents. He was a pupil of S?bastien Cornu, Devaulx and Falgui?re. He exhibited at the Salon and won a medal in 1879. He won a gold medal at the Universal Exposition of 1900. He was an artist who worked in various media. As a medallist, Peter is best known for his depictions of animals. He became professor of sculpture at the ?cole Nationale Sup?rieur des Beaux-Arts in 1901 and was made a chevalier of the L?gion d’Honneur. Peter died in 1918. ?
