Maurice Th?not was born in 1893. He studied under Patey. He exhibited in the Salon des Artistes and won a bronze medal in 1927 and a silver medal in 1936. His medallic works include a fine series of plaquettes and medals depicting African animals. Th?not died in 1963.

Edouard Fraisse was born at Beaune in 1880. He studied under Barrias, Coutan, Chaplain and Vernon. He collaborated with Henry Demey on numerous medals and plaquettes that typically depicted figures in action. He was made a chevalier of the Legion d’Honneur. He died in 1945.
