He worked for a time under Auguste Rodin and spent three years at Pierre Bingen?s foundry, where he created a number of works using the cire perdue method of casting. He exhibited at the Salon des artistes fran?ais, becoming a member in 1902. He won a gold medal in 1923. He is noted in particular for his many war memorials. Fernand-Dubois died in 1952.
