In an official, custom-made case, embossed with an inscription commemorating the visit. A minor repair to the case, which has some slight scuffs. Extremely fine. $450. The contingent was apparently presented with medals, taken from remaining inventory, commemorating the opening of the new council chamber and placed in specially made cases. This is the first example I have handled in over 35 years of dealing in medals.
