Henri Dubois, was the son of noted sculptor and medallist, Alph?e Dubois and grandson of Eug?ne Dubois. He was born in 1859. He studied under his father, Chapu and Falgui?re. He won the second Grand Prix de Rome in 1878 and in 1883 became a Soci?taire des Artiste Fran?ais. In 1900 he won a silver medal at the Universal Exposition. In 1903 he was made a Chevalier de la L?gion d?Honneur. Dubois died in 1930.

He was a student at the ?cole Nationale Sup?rieure des Beaux Arts, where he studied engraving under Alph?e Dubois and sculpture under Falgui?re. He exhibited at the salon beginning in 1894. He won an honorable mention in 1901 and a third class medal in 1904. In 1905 be became a Soci?taire des Artistes Fran?ais and a Chevalier de la L?gion d?Honneur. Prud?homme died in 1947.

He won a gold medal at the Universal Exposition of 1900. He was an artist who worked in various media. As a medallist, Peter is best known for his depictions of animals. He became professor of sculpture at the ?cole Nationale Sup?rieur des Beaux-Arts in 1901 and was made a chevalier of the L?gion d’Honneur. Peter died in 1918. ?
