Henri-Eug?ne Nocq, sculptor and medallist was born in Paris in 1868. He studied under the sculptor, Henri-Michel-Antoine Chapu. Starting in 1887 he exhibited at the Salon and won a silver medal in 1900. He was made a Chevalier de la L?gion d?Honneur. Nocq died in 1944

François Maurice Thénot was born in 1893. He studied under Patey. He exhibited in the Salon des Artistes and won a bronze medal in 1927 and a silver medal in 1936. His medallic works include a fine series of plaquettes and medals depicting African animals. Thénot died in 1963.
