Edmond Henri Becker was born in Paris on July 20 1871. He studied under Valton. He worked as a medallist, sculptor and goldsmith, exhibiting at the Salons des Artistes Fran?ais and des Arts D?coratifs from 1892 until 1951. He initially created works in the art nouveau style and later in the art deco style. Many of his works have a religious theme. Becker died, aged 100, at Nogent-sur-Marne on November 2 1971.
