Rev: The figure of Peace presenting Plenty to a seated figure of Liberty. Nearly extremely fine. $75. Sorry, SOLD Hippolyte Lef?bvre, sculptor and medallist was born in Lille in 1863. He studied at the Acad?mie des Beaux-Arts in Lille, where he won first prizes in drawing and sculpture. He later entered the ?cole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where he won numerous prizes. He exhibited at the Salon and won the Grand Prix de Rome in sculpture in 1892. At the 1900 Universal Exposition, he won gold medals for medals that he exhibited. Lef?bvre died in 1935. ?
