He later moved to Paris, where he studied under the sculptors Falgui?re and Merci?. He became a regular exhibitor at the Salon of the Soci?t? des Artistes Fran?ais. He produced several war memorials following World War I and is noted, among medal collectors, for his medals related to World War I. He was made a Chevalier de la L?gion d?Honneur in 1927.
