? Henri-Eug?ne Nocq, sculptor and medallist was born in Paris in 1868. He studied under the sculptor, Henri-Michel-Antoine Chapu. Starting in 1887 he exhibited at the Salon and won a silver medal in 1900. He was made a Chevalier de la L?gion d?Honneur. Nocq died in 1944
