In 1891 he won the Grand Prix de Rome. He won a first class medal in 1897 and gold medal at the Universal Exposition in 1900, the same year that he became a soci?taire des Artistes Fran?ais. He was made an officier de la L?gion d?Honneur. Sicard died in 1934.
