Jean Vernon was born in 1897. He studied at the ?cole? des Arts d?coratifs and at the ?cole Nationale Sup?rieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris. He died in 1975. He is noted in particular for his series of medals depicting scenes from Jean de la Fontaine’s Fables.?
