Pierre Turin (1891-1968) was a student at the ?cole Nationale Sup?rieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris. He studied under Henri Auguste Jules Patey and Fr?deric-Charles Victor de Vernon. In 1920 he won the Grand Prix de Rome for medal engraving. He created many medals often with a bold Art Deco style.
