Georges Ridet was born in 1906. He was a student at the ?cole des Beaux-Arts at Dijon and later at the ?cole Nationale Sup?rior des Beaux-Arts de Paris.? He won a second Grand Prix de Rome in sculpture in 1935.? He received a mention in the Salon des Artistes Fran?ais in 1928 and bronze medal in 1931. Ridet died in 1967.
