Patina on the reverse slightly uneven. $75. ———– Paul Belmondo was born in 1898. He studied at the ?cole des Beaux-Arts d?Alger then at the ?cole Nationale Sup?rieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris. He worked in the ateliers of Jean Boucher and Charles Despaiu. He won the Blumenthal prize in 1926 and went on to attain many other distinctions during a long career. He created an extensive body of medallic art and in 1976 the Monnaie de Paris made a special exhibit of his works.
